UI/UX and Product Designer with fifteen years in graphic design underneath it — I’ve shipped 25+ websites and a growing line of end-to-end product work, turning user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into digital products that hold up in the real world.
I’m Faeze Babanejad, a UI/UX and product designer with a graphic design background spanning over fifteen years. From the start, I wasn’t just executing what a client asked for — I was giving opinions, pushing back when something wouldn’t serve their business, and acting as a design consultant, not just a graphic designer. That habit of asking “does this actually help your business” is still with me today, through every tool and discipline since.
My career started in graphic design, where I spent 15 years working with advertising agencies and freelance clients across a wide range of visual work. That decade and a half is still the foundation everything else sits on — it’s where I learned to make deliberate visual decisions quickly, and to trust that instinct.
Five years ago, that instinct moved onto the web. I’ve since designed and shipped 25 to 30 websites, moving from graphic design into UI/UX with the same rigor I’d built over the previous decade — mastering Figma, and pairing it with WordPress to make sure my designs survived contact with a real, working page.
More recently, I’ve been extending that into product design specifically — research, information architecture, and business-goal alignment, not just interface execution. It’s a newer discipline for me, four years in and four projects deep, and it’s where I’m putting my most deliberate growth right now.
Design, for me, is the intersection of aesthetic clarity, functional logic, and user-centered problem solving.
I approach each project end-to-end — from concept and UX design to implementation — because fifteen years of graphic design taught me that a good idea poorly executed isn’t actually a good idea. Every product I design has to be visually distinctive and structurally sound, performant, and optimized for a seamless experience.
A significant part of my recent work has focused on designing interactive digital catalogs and web-based brochures — transforming traditional print materials into web-friendly, engaging, interactive experiences.
This is where my two backgrounds actually meet: fifteen years of print and graphic design instinct, applied to interfaces built for real usability, responsiveness, and real-world usage scenarios — not just a digital copy of a printed page.
Outside of client projects, I actively practice illustration. It keeps my creative thinking sharp and my visual perspective evolving — a direct line back to where this all started, and still where a fresh, thoughtful idea often begins before it finds its way into a product I’m designing.
