Brand Identity & Packaging Design — Freelance

ROMAX

Complete visual identity and packaging system for a new eyewear lens brand, launched by MGM Lens, a lens manufacturer based in Iran.
Overview

A new lens brand, built from the logo up

ROMAX is a new eyewear lens brand launched by MGM Lens, an Iran-based lens manufacturer. The brief covered the brand from the ground up — logo, tagline direction, and a full packaging system spanning lens sleeves, RX lens boxes, cleaner spray labels, warranty cards, and a branded shopping bag — all needing to feel premium and trustworthy from the very first product a customer touches.

Focus

What the identity had to cover

Brand logo and tagline direction — “Seeing eyes, beautiful life” — establishing a premium, trustworthy visual identity from the first touchpoint.

Lens sleeve/envelope packaging in both light and dark color variations.

Label design for the lens cleaner spray bottle, in standard and premium variants.

Warranty card design, including layout, typography, and back-side information structure.

Branded shopping bag, extending the identity across the full customer experience.

RX lens packaging system — including Blue Protect and Photochromic variants — with clear product information and iconography.

Microfiber cleaning cloth packaging in multiple formats, sleeve and label versions.

One cohesive gold-and-navy palette, held consistently across the entire packaging suite.

01 — Brand identity

A wordmark built to read as premium in one glance

The ROMAX wordmark uses a crescent motif inside the “O” — a quiet nod to the eye itself — paired with the tagline “Seeing eyes, beautiful life” in a lighter script weight underneath. Gold on both white and navy grounds keeps the mark legible and premium-feeling across every packaging format that follows.

02 — Cleaning cloth packaging

The smallest item, in two color stories

The microfiber cleaning cloth needed to work as both a sleeve pack and a compact rolled-label format, in the brand’s light and dark variants — the smallest item in the range, but often the first thing a customer actually holds.

03 — RX lens packaging

Two lens technologies, told apart at a glance

Photochromic and Blue Protect lenses each needed their own visual language within the same box structure — a grayscale gradient chip for Photochromic, a blue gradient chip for Blue Protect — so a customer or optician could identify the right product without reading a word, while the fold-out interior still carries full technical detail and iconography.
04 — Lens cleaner spray

A standard and a premium tier, same shelf

The lens cleaner spray label needed both a standard white version and a premium navy tier, applied to the same bottle shape — letting the two sit side by side on a shelf while still reading as clearly different price points.

05 — Customer touchpoints

Carrying the identity past the product itself

A branded shopping bag and a warranty card round out the experience — the bag as the first physical impression of the brand leaving the store, and the warranty card carrying the practical information (serial number, care instructions, terms) a customer keeps long after the purchase.
